grandma doesn’t listen

my kids grandmother is not a good gift giver at all. i don’t want to complain, because i guess it’s the thought that counts.  it’s always stuff from the thrift store or the dollar store. it just gets old after a while, used stained clothes, and cheap stuff from the dollar store that breaks in 5 minutes or is on the recall list. at one point and still sometimes is. she would buy one of my kids a gift and not the others. that upset me a lot. you don’t spoil one grandchild without doing the same for others. now i could understand birthdays, but it’s for no reason at all. now the grandparents have been very good giving gift cards or money. so my children can get something they need or it gets put away for a college fund.  when a gift dliema arises now i just return it to the sender or store. or in my case i hide it until it becomes equal between all the grandchildren.i don’t think that a gift should be bought without consulting the parents first.  go check out the gift guide and get them right gift.
