i hated back to school

Posted by brandy3 on August 22, 2008

i always dreaded the first day of school. i could remember 1st garde. i cried for two hours im my moms lap, just saying i didn’t want to go.  the first day really makes or breaks you. the impression you make to people is going to be the impression you hold. at least that was the way it was in my school. it’s easier as you go up in grades. your friends move with you.

the first days were always hardfor me because i was a loner and always got picked on. i remember one year in 8th grade. the bully that wanted to fight me never got the chance in 7th. so the first day of eighth she was there waiting for me. though we didn’t fight, she threatened and that made my whole year terrifying.

my daughter will be starting school soon, and i can’t wait, the transition might be a little hard. she has never been in day care, part of a playgroup etc. she is prepared. my husband is in college, and she hears him talk about it all the time. she can’t wait.

my hubbys first days are wierd. you have new professors and none of the same students are in the classes.  he says you can tell who are the good students and who are the slackers. people come in the first day late, or don’t even show up.

the hardest part of school is the costs, and thats another reason i hated the firs day. we could never afford new clotes for school, and i was a little embarassed. now taht i have kids, we still can’t afford a wonderful shopping spree. so i’m glad hanes has a wonderful line of inexspensive clothes for back to school.
